Shaun Marsh is a happy man on Thursday not just because he scripted Kings XI Punjab's win by smashing 71 runs but also because he batted successfully against legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne. Marsh smashed Warne for three sixes in the 14th over the of the Punjab innings and also raised his half-century in the process.
Marsh was adjudged Man of the Match for his 42-ball knock, which was studded with six fours apart from those three sixes off Warne. As Punjab scored its third consecutive win and jumped to third place in the points table, skipper Adam Gilchrist is happy that the team has shrugged off the bad start.
